"Arctic Man 14"
With no thoughts about unlucky numbers, some of the wildest animals on the planet rendezvous here in the Alaska Range to twist the last action out of a long winter. The big race is five and a half miles and 3700 vertical feet of combined power sledding and tough downhill skiing at speeds of over 80 mph. Beyond the racecourse, unlimited snowmachine, ski, and snowboard sport extends far into the surrounding wilderness. Since 1986, it's been "Go fast or go home!"
